Where coaching insights appear

Step 1

Navigate to a player's profile and tap the Coaching tab

Open any player's profile, then tap the Coaching tab. The insight panel loads three sections generated on-device by Apple Intelligence: Season Summary, Top Strength, and Development Focus.

🧠 Each insight is generated from that player's stats, coaching notes, enrichment data, and report card — so the more data you add, the sharper the insights become.

Read and act on a suggestion

Step 2

Rate each insight with the thumbs up or thumbs down icon

Each panel gives a focused, actionable coaching cue. Tap the thumbs up icon if the insight resonates, or thumbs down if it misses the mark. A thumbs down optionally prompts you for a correction reason — this feedback is woven into the next regeneration.

👍 Your ratings shape future insights. Thumbs up reinforces the tone and focus; thumbs down with a correction reason adjusts specificity and direction in the next pass.

How insights improve over time

Step 3a

Add more player data via Enrichment Chat

Insights regenerate automatically whenever the underlying data changes. The fastest way to improve them is to fill in the Enrichment Chat — a set of position-specific questions about the player. More answers mean richer context for Apple Intelligence to draw from.

💬 You can also improve insights through Report Card skill ratings and manual coaching notes on the player's profile — all three sources feed directly into the generation prompt.

Step 3b

Give feedback to steer the next generation

Your thumbs up and thumbs down ratings — along with any correction reasons you provide — are included in the next generation prompt. Over time this adjusts the tone, focus, and specificity of insights to match how you actually coach.

⚠️ There is no coaching history or trends view in the app. Improvement is driven by data enrichment and feedback loops — not a history screen.
